Blog: An insiders Perspective of the Principality

With the next Grand-Prix of Monaco just round the corner, it is time to focus on Monaco’s golden boy : Charles Leclerc.

The protégé of Princess Charlène of Monaco was born and raised in the Principality. Charles started karting when he was just 5 years old, and since then he never stopped racing. For the Leclercs, racing is a family business: Charles Leclerc’s father used to be a racer and his younger brother, Arthur Leclerc, is part of the Ferrari driver academy.

Charles started his single-seater career in 2014, he then graduated to Formula 3, Formula 2, gaining rookie victories along the way. He made his grand entry in Formula 1 in 2018 racing for Sauber’s stable. In 2019 Scuderia Ferrari signed Leclerc for the season, he is still racing for Ferrari.

Last year during the 2022 season, he won the first race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix. By doing so, he became the first ever « Monégasque » driver to lead the Formula One World Championship. He’ll end the season on the podium, 2nd place in the Driver’s Championship as well as 2nd in the Constructor’s Championship for Ferrari.

2023 season started off the wrong wheel for Charles Leclerc. Due to technical problems, he is forced to end the race prematurely. In an interview, he states that “The car had no power, we need to score points in these kinds of Grand Prix. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us. The Red Bull cars were much faster than us, getting the 3rd was the best we could have hoped for.”

We’ll definitely support Monaco‘s Golden Boy: Charles Leclerc with enthusiasm, whatever happens.

But ladies, according to recent news, the handsome 25 years old is newly single.

To be continued…..
